You are right J.P. - The "slash-cut" mufflers on the early Yamaha 2-strokes looked good, anyone else remember them?

I had lots of friends with twin-jets.
I can't believe we pulled double on them !!!

Depends if you consider better to be stock or better to be faster... The factory never gets it right imo. :mrgreen:

My first bike that had expansion chambers :D Top speed was 98 I think that was good. Half way through each gear you could feel the pipes kick in as if I gave it more gas. I can't remember the exact year (69-70) but it had an electric starter :shock: My buddy had the Honda CL 90, we pulled doubles every day...He recently restored the same bike :clap:
