My FPP Chambers had a couple dents and a partially mashed header pipe. Predicted low temp that night was 6 Deg F. It took just over a gallon of water to fill each pipe to the perforated baffle tubes. I taped off the perforated tubes so I could fill them and then pulled the tape off. Three hours later the dent in the belly of the RH chamber was gone and the mashed header pipe while not perfect is way better.

You're getting pretty good at that, Tim.

So this Urban Legend is true? FYI, 6F is a heat wave around here.

Thanks. Yeah it is true. I had real good results with my Denco Killers a few years back. They were way worse than the FPP s. They took all night to pop the dents out. The center pipe on them was mashed bad in the belly. 6 degrees is fairly rare in Northern VA so I figured I better get them while the getting was good.

Do you cap off the inlet? Do you monitor them or just let them go on their own?

I neglected to mention capping inlet with true values finest rubber plugs. Yes I monitor them and begin thawing as soon as the dents are gone.

Hey that's pretty cool Tim! Nice work.

Unfortunately that would be a no-go around here. Maybe I should ship my old pipes to you for rework. :D

Large chest type freezer?

Yep a chest type freezer or if you know anyone who will let you have access to a walk in. Remove the baffles (if applicable), plug the header pipe end, fill with water and hang or set up, header pipe end down. Check every hour or so. Don't plug both ends. When the dents pop out, remove from freezer or take inside to thaw and Bob's your Uncle. If you have any pinholes you can smear some JB Weld on them.
