I dont know... I have a set of FPPS that I bought NOS and had on the Phoenix Project for a couple years and on the Triple they were good but lacking in bottom end, more of a high RPM pipe that took a disciplined throttle hand because they would let the motor turn past 9500 if you held it wide open... I bought these as spares because they were cheap so I can fix my Toomeys over the winter...UPS was supposed to deliver them today out of Delaware but just sent notice they wont be arriving today... |

I've been a friend of Stuart Toomey since his days starting out at Flyiong Machine Factory in the early 1970's, long before Toomey Racing. And, his "shakey deals r us" not so better sibling, Ed Toomey. The Toomey pipes should be a lot more forgiving, make more power all over the place, and not so peaky, good all through the rmp range. |

I have a set of Spec II prepped VM30s on mine and a Zeeltronic ignition conversion / power valve controller with a 10 step curve that Mark Haase designed on mine. It pulls linear all the way through the range. I can roll the throttle on at 3500 in 6th and hold it till I get scared and let off or the rev limiter stops it at 10.5K. The low end is very good for a ported 350 with Toomeys (Stage 1 Spec II and head shaved .030). I bought a set of o-rings for my pipes from Toomey and they were nice on the phone and good to me. The parts came in 4 days from CA. I have been very fortunate with mine. |

It really does run nice. I am lucky to have good friends who are excellent tuners. The ignition and power valve controllers make all the difference in the world and Gary at Spec II does such a good job. |
