I will run it up the road tomorrow after I make a small harness to hook up the brake light switch... It feels better already at the lever....

So far I am at $280 for the conversion not counting the $17 NOS stock lever set I bought today. All the parts were used except for the adapter brackets from TDR and the aforementioned levers. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Test ride complete... I am amazed at the brakes.... :D :D
I wired up the brake light switch and after a short argument and a bit of dry lube said switch is functioning perfectly.

Done and done.

So what are the details of the differences between the stock brake and the improved brake? How did changing the master cylinder make a difference? Details?!

Details
The brakes are conservatively 50% better. They were good and much improved bolting on the calipers with the stock RZ 16MM master cylinder. But as Mark Haase indicated the feel wasn't there. The R1 master cylinder actually increased the stopping power, plus it is progressive and linear. 1-2 fingers is all you need to haul it down from 90 plus MPH. No noise, no leaks. It is well worth the money for anyone who owns one of these bikes. And it looks cool... At least to me it does...the new factory lever should be here in a couple days. I am more than likely gonna order a NOS cap from flea bay as the chrome looks a little out of place...
All in all I am very pleased with the conversion. My test and evaluator pilot Adrenaline Jim will be the judge of my success come next May....
