Yep it is... I asked the guy to put the attach bolts in the box as well. I bought a set from another vendor for $6 shipped in the event he doesnt... |

The steel pistons are industrial hard chromed, which is why they pit and rust. The aluminum pistons are hard anodized, and don't pit, nor rust, and, they dissipate pad heat faster and more evenly than the steel ones do. And, finally, someone that isn't afraid to put some workable-serious brakes on their bike, good on you, sir. I like it! |

free photo hosting Done and done. Bled out in 10 minutes. Test ride complete. Stops just like the Phoenix with 2 fingers from 95 MPH.. The fit and finish on the TDR adapters is superb.... Bolted right on and was able to use my existing braided lines. The difference is night and day. As Mark said careful application is necessary. I will try the R1 master cylinder when it arrives but it certainly is rideable and way better than stock as is.... |

img host gif image hosting R1 master cylinder installed and bled. I decided to use the existing master cylinder mount bracket for the reservoir in the absence of any other brackets.... I used a long allen head bolt and spaced the reservoir out a touch with m6 washers so it doesn't rub against anything. I had a nice new piece of John Deere diesel injector hose that I installed after I decided the mounting for the reservoir and the original hose was too short... It took about 10 minutes to bleed out. All thats left to do is rewire the pressure switch end to adapt it to the R1 switch and it will be test ride time. I will also be ordering a stock lever replacement for the blue lever that came on the mastercylinder so they match...I found it interesting that it came with a double banjo bolt so apparently the R1 didnt have a splitter and ran two lines side by side out of the master cylinder. I was able to bolt the braided line installed on the RZ with a little manuvering... |

What color is the stock lever? I think the ones on it when I rode it were black. Anodizing makes a great base for paint. |
