img hostgif image hostingR1 master cylinder installed and bled. I decided to use the existing master cylinder mount bracket for the reservoir in the absence of any other brackets.... I used a long allen head bolt and spaced the reservoir out a touch with m6 washers so it doesn't rub against anything. I had a nice new piece of John Deere diesel injector hose that I installed after I decided the mounting for the reservoir and the original hose was too short...
It took about 10 minutes to bleed out. All thats left to do is rewire the pressure switch end to adapt it to the R1 switch and it will be test ride time. I will also be ordering a stock lever replacement for the blue lever that came on the mastercylinder so they match...I found it interesting that it came with a double banjo bolt so apparently the R1 didnt have a splitter and ran two lines side by side out of the master cylinder. I was able to bolt the braided line installed on the RZ with a little manuvering...
