 I made the adapter out of metric allen head bolt, which I slotted with the dremel. I drilled holes in the RD 400 petcock lever and the bolt to secure the factory RZ knob. A tractor pin with cotter pin holds the whole works on the RD 400 cut down lever. Done and installed...had a slight leak at the sediment bowl. Looked through my John Deere O-rings and found a substitute until I can get one on order as I am unsure if the JD part mixes well with ethanol. |

 Near perfect fit and works like a champ. Just waiting on the new grab rail grommets and a couple other odds and ends and the RZ will be ready... |

All thats left is to reassemble tail fairing and grab rail and install the sidecovers. On hold now for grommets enroute from Singapore with an ETA of 21 March.... |
