I made the adapter out of metric allen head bolt, which I slotted with the dremel. I drilled holes in the RD 400 petcock lever and the bolt to secure the factory RZ knob. A tractor pin with cotter pin holds the whole works on the RD 400 cut down lever.

Done and installed...had a slight leak at the sediment bowl. Looked through my John Deere O-rings and found a substitute until I can get one on order as I am unsure if the JD part mixes well with ethanol.

Near perfect fit and works like a champ. Just waiting on the new grab rail grommets and a couple other odds and ends and the RZ will be ready...

All thats left is to reassemble tail fairing and grab rail and install the sidecovers. On hold now for grommets enroute from Singapore with an ETA of 21 March....

8 weeks to go....looks like you'll make it with enough time to run some shake-down laps.
