I used 2 inch wide aluminium tape for heating and ac ducts and wrapped the whole works with safey wires as tight as I could get it. It seems to be holding up so far. I ran 20 miles this morning and was a heathen pretty much the whole time, vids to follow..
3 marked deputies rolled past the driveway slow just as I was closing the shop doors...Either I am paranoid or someone got thier little pink panties in a wad and called the law....
I was quite relieved when they kept going. The bike was already inside before they rolled by....

Handlebar switch for R6 cooling fan arrived yesterday. Black wires x2 and a black wire with white stripe and of course no schematic for the electricallly challenged
One of the black wires hooks to one side of the switch and the one with the stripe hooks to the other. the 3rd wire???

Could that switch be designed to multi-task? Lets assume it could be a 'pass through' switch, to complete a circuit, and also, either a ground circuit, one source to ground??? Just speculating.

Or, could that switch work TWO fans on a liquid cooling system???

Ohm check all the wires and switch positions.

I have no idea. It is a universal on off handlebar mounted switch from China with no damn instructions... I will figure it out eventually....

Figured it out. Black and white is one side and either of two black wires is the other side so you could run an accessory and I guess a light or 2 components off of one switch. I hooked it up to a battery and the fan goes on and off using either black wire. Switch was wired in to interrupt the hot wire. Works like a champ.
I will pull the radiator and make me some mounts with adel clamps around the frame one day soon when I get time. After I looked and measured I like that idea better than mounting it directly to the radiator.

You really are doing a nice job on this one. Maybe one day this summer, we can meet up and smoke up Front Royal a bit on a couple two strokes.
