Our friend Ed Zunz, widely known as "Triple Ed" has dropped a cylinder! :o He has been working on some RD350s for a friend who has had them in storage for years and is ready to part with them. (keep an eye out in the "For Sale" section) Ed is cleaning them up and getting them roadworthy. There is quite an assortment:

This 74 is all original, very clean and runs great! I know, I rode this one!

Ed said this '80 LC pulls strong with very smooth power, it's very easy to go too fast too soon and it handles great! 8-)

He just got a hold of this RD350B with DG heads and pipes. Not sure what other mods it has but the owner said the ports have not been touched. This would look great in my garage!

I told him that the DG heads have smaller combustion chambers and are made for ported engines, and have caused many stock motors to melt down due to high compression. He has not looked it over at this point but said the bike ran for many miles without problems, maybe it has risers at the base of the cylinders, a common way to get ported performance without cutting any metal. Ed doesn't ride on the street much any more so when he's done with it I will take it out and wring it's neck for final approval! :e11

The RD350LC is a bullet! Granted I have not been on a street bike for over 5 years but I had to take it for a quick spin. I quit riding after my nieces father was killed on a bike, very sad. It has drastically changed my life. Anyway the purple 74 is a beautiful original & I have it running great! I am currently working on the 75.
