Hay was hauled. Girly bike with new H-4 halogen was rode, wheelies were pulled in abundance and so far the refurbished wiring and new switch may have solved the bulb blowing. I am cautiously optimistic. Brats will be grilled. Beer will be drank, Happy 4th to all!! |

Not that I trust all the sellers' claims about lumens, but the one I bought, in the link on the previous page, claims to be 3600 lumens. The one in your link claims 400 lumens and says there is only one beam, not high/low. |

I'm glad you pointed that out. Now reading the ad more carefully I see the headlight beam is an accent light, good for shows not for the road. And I need a high/low beam to pass safety check here. |

If there is a safety check and the guy is actually going to check your headlight adjustment, you might have trouble with any LED H4 bulb in a reflector made for a quartz-halogen bulb because of what I said above. Probably best to leave the QH in until after the check, at least. |

Regarding LED advertised brightness: Not so sure you can trust the Lumen or watt ratings at least on ebay I've bought flashlights and taillight bulbs that were supposed to be as bright as the sun only to find out that it looked like a 70's flashlight Just totally bogus specs I have found that products made by Superbright and Cree do seem to have accurate specs between each other and the items with high power ratings are bright I know, hard to believe that cheap Chinese products don't have accurate or quality specs… |
